Supervised Visitation Application
Job Description:
As a Supervised Visitation Facilitator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating visits between children and their parents. Understanding you may be working with high risk families. You will be responsible for ensuring a safe and positive environment, intervening or redirecting families when necessary, and providing parent coaching as needed.
Responsibilities:
● Facilitate supervised visitations between children and their parents.
● Document visits with attention to detail, ensuring accurate and thorough records.
● Exercise judgment to Intervene or redirect families during visits when necessary.
● Provide parent coaching when needed.
● Transport children safely as required, including installing car seats.
● Manage time effectively to ensure smooth operation of visits and records.
● Must be willing to facilitate visits at our center, out in the community and in client homes.
Qualifications:
● Previous experience in early childhood education, human resources or daycare is preferred but not required.
● Must have excellent documentation/communication skills and attention to detail.
● Must possess strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to defuse conflicts.
● Must be comfortable intervening during visits and redirecting families when necessary.
● Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
● Must have a valid driver's license/insurance and be willing to transport children in your vehicle.
● Excellent time management skills are essential.
